Please join Beyond Plastics and PSR-NY for a free screening of the eye-opening new documentary film, the Plastic Detox. Microplastics and nanoplastics have been linked to many health issues, but now may be linked to infertility!

The screening will begin at 1:00 PM on April 19 and will be followed by a panel discussion with Judith Enck, president of Beyond Plastics and former US EPA regional administrator, and Dr. Kathy Nolan, president of Physicians for Social Responsibility – New York State Chapter.

About Our Speakers

Judith Enck, Founder and President, Beyond Plastics
In 2019, Judith founded Beyond Plastics to end plastic pollution everywhere. Judith was appointed by President Obama to serve as regional administrator in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in 2009 and served as deputy secretary for the environment in the New York Governor’s Office. She is a professor at Bennington College and co-author of the new book “The Problem With Plastic” (The New Press, December 2025), available wherever you purchase your books.

Kathleen Nolan, MD, President, Physicians for Social Responsibility – New York
Dr. Kathleen Nolan is a pediatrician and researcher from Mount Tremper NY who has focused her work over the past two decades on addressing toxic contaminations in our environment that cause or risk harm to humans. Dr. Nolan is on the Board of Concerned Health Professionals of New York, serves as President of the New York Chapter of Physicians for Social Responsibility, and is an author and editor of the Compendium of Scientific, Medical, and Media Findings Demonstrating Risks and Harms of Fracking and Associated Gas and Oil Infrastructure.
